Engine Company 382 is a 2007 Sutphen Monarch aluminum top-mount pumper with a six person cab. Equipped with a Hale QMAX 2000 GPM pump, it is supplied by a 1000 gallon poly-fiberglass tank with a 30 gallon Class A foam tank and Foam Pro injection unit. Engine Company 382 is powered by a 500 horsepower Cummins Diesel and Allison transmission. Engine Company 382 can perform multiple roles primarily as our first due engine, RIT response unit, and as a second/backup rescue when needed. Equipped with 1000 feet of 5-inch supply line, two 1 ¾ inch and two 2 inch crosslays, a 2 ½ inch rear preconnect, a 3 inch blitzfire line, a 3 inch gated wye preconnect, and a 4inch standpipe preconnect. In addition to its role as an engine company, it is equipped with a full complement of RIT equipment including a hand operated Holmatro combi, RIT SCBA pack, ropes, 4:1 lift system, stokes, forcible entry tools, and ladders. When Rescue-Engine 384 is out of service Engine Company 382 can be outfitted with the rescue equipment and responds as the first due to all MVA’s.
