At 0840 hours, Edinboro, Cranesville, McKean, Waterford (RIT) and CECPA Medic 2 were alerted for a structure fire on Walnut Street. Engine 382 and Truck 389 responded with twelve volunteers. While units were responding, Erie County 911 advised units that caller reported an electrical fire on the exterior of the residence and that the fire was out. Assistant Chief 390 (Dahle) arrived on scene and reported a single story, wood frame residential with light smoke showing from the bravo side. 390 assumed Walnut Street command. Units arrived on scene and confirmed that the fire was out. Command advised Erie County 911 to have all mutual aid departments stand by at their station. Crews found no extension into the residence. Command put all mutual aid units in service and crews held with an engine and the truck. Crews were on scene for an half an hour.
